Welcome to Thab Prik, Krabi.

Our two homes are within a small Thai village neighbourhood at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Daily life here follows a local rhythm, our neighbours head to work in Krabi Town, the tourist areas or the nearby rubber tree and palm oil plantations which surround the area. The evenings and weekends are calm and unhurried. Birdsong, the trillings of cicadas and the odd frog chorus provide the background sounds to this rural environment.
This part of Krabi province appeals to travellers who value space, privacy and a connection to place.

Nature defines this area, forested limestone formations and farmland shape the landscape, with Khao Phanom Bencha National Park and Huay Toh Waterfall less than 20 kilometres away and Than Bok Khorani National Park a little further away, near Ao Leuk town. Small caves and local Buddhist temples nearby offer opportunities to explore quietly, without ticket booths or tour buses.
You are close enough to reach Krabi Town for markets, riverside dining and transport links, yet far enough away to avoid the crowds of the developed tourist zones.
Ao Nang and Khlong Muang beaches are an easy drive when you want time by the sea, without having to stay in busy resort areas. There are many islands which can be reached in half day or whole day tours by boat.

Our guests prefer independence but appreciate local knowledge when they need it. We live close by and are available to help with practical advice, directions, or suggestions that reflect how locals experience the region. This might mean pointing you towards a roadside restaurant, a quiet walking area, or the best time to visit a nearby attraction.
Staying here is not about ticking off landmarks at speed. Our aim is to offer a stay in Krabi that feels calm and connected to its surroundings.
